Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Alicja Składanowska, trading as Actually Helpful Studio, Worcestershire, United Kingdom. Registered with the ICO, number ZC148497.

What we collect
- From the enquiry form: your name, email, and if you give them, phone number, business name or website, the services you tick, your message, the photos or files you attach, and whether you agree to cloud AI tools.
- From emails and messages: what you write to us.
- When you pay: payments are handled by Stripe. We see your name, email, amount and what you bought. We never see or store your card details.
- Technical data: IP address and basic browser data, processed by our hosting provider to run the site and stop spam.
Why, and the legal basis
- To reply to you and prepare a quote: steps before a contract, at your request (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To do the job you ordered: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep accounts and tax records: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
- To protect the site against spam and abuse: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
- To use cloud AI tools on your photos: only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by email (Article 6(1)(a)).
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train AI models. We use these providers, who process data for us:
- Cloudflare: website hosting, the enquiry database, temporary storage of the photos you upload, and visitor statistics without cookies (Cloudflare Web Analytics, no personal profiles).
- Google: our email.
- Stripe: card payments.
- Cloud AI services: only if you agree, and only for the photos you agree to. We tell you which service before we use it.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. When they do, we rely on the safeguards the law provides, such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Photos uploaded through the form: deleted from cloud storage as soon as we download them, and automatically after 60 days at the latest.
- Your photos and finished files on our computer: kept for 30 days after you get the final files, in case you need a small change, then deleted. Want them deleted sooner, or kept longer? Just tell us.
- Enquiries that did not turn into a job: 12 months.
- Invoices and payment records: 6 years, as UK tax rules require.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no cookie banner. Fonts are hosted on our own domain. Payment pages follow Stripe’s rules.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or send it to you in a portable format. Email hello@actuallyhelpfulstudio.co.uk. We reply within one month.
If you think something is wrong, you can complain to the ICO: ico.org.uk.
